We"ve got a sneak peek at what Intel"s land looks like at Computex. Intel"s got one of the largest presences at Computex this year, and obviously with that comes a massive booth. We even got to see some of the bunny men return! Check out a few of the pictures we snapped from the show floor:

Samsung digs in to avoid 8 Gbit NAND flash price freefall.
Although NAND flash contract prices continued dropping in July, it appears Samsung Electronics has started applying the brakes on high-density 8Gbit parts, as prices for the segment are falling as much lower rate. Contract prices for the 4Gbit segment fell 14.7% from June and 2 Gbit prices fell 10.2 percent, while the 8Gbit segment saw a drop of only 7.7 percent, according to DRAMeXchange.

Matsushita"s Panasonic division announced that it has started pilot production of single-layer, Blu-ray-based BD-ROM media. The company said that it is currently working on replicating the process to dual-layer BD-ROM discs with 50 GByte of storage capacity.
