Pencil-thin Dell Adamo XPS Has Core 2 Duo Brains.

This ultra ultra thin doesn"t have an Atom! Dell"s been teasing the Adamo XPS for weeks now, showing profile shots and its cool heat-sensitive latch. But rarely mentioned in its showings was what went on inside. While the Adamo XPS is most definitely a form-focused computer, we"re pleased to report that it"s powered by a Core 2 Duo instead of an Atom. - 4GB DDR3 800 memory; - Intel Core 2 Duo (1.4 Ghz) ultra-low voltage processor; - Thin 128 GB SSD for faster, cooler, quieter and more durable storage than traditional hard drives; - A 13.4-inch high-definition display. Thin is still the biggest focus for the Adamo XPS, measuring 9.99-mm or just four-tenths of an inch. It weighs just over 3 pounds and measures 13.39 x 10.71 inches. "Our engineers and designers are breaking new ground and throwing away the old rules with the introduction of Adamo XPS," said Alex Gruzen, senior vice president of Dell consumer products. "We think the Adamo XPS will inspire an emotional connection with anyone who sees it." The name Adamo is derived from the Latin word meaning "to fall in love," ò€“-and if you love this XPS model, then it"ll cost you no less than $1799.

Then, Ferruccio decided to beat Il Commendatore in his own game, and the tractor manufacturer turned into a company that builds fantastic sports cars.
