NetworksMicrosoft Starts Selling PCs Online.
With the opening of its first retail store taking place today, Microsoft has opened up its online store and is now selling PCs through its website.
For those of you asking the question, "What"s Microsoft going to sell in its stores, anyway?" You"d do well to take a gander at store.microsoft.com because I"m assuming the site is supposed to go hand in hand with Microsoft"s push into the brick and mortar retail business.
Of course, you"ve got Windows 7 and Office on sale but you"ve also got the likes of Nero, Photoshop and a wide range of netbooks, notebooks and PCs from HP, Dell, Sony and Lenovo. Then there"s computer peripherals, gaming (PC, Xbox 360 and PC hardware), music (the beautiful Zune HD) and even phone accessories.
So if you can"t make it down to Scottsdale (or you know, refuse to make it lest you be aurally assaulted by Ashley Tisdale), hit up the link to check out the virtual store instead.
