Haihaisoft recently released new dynamic watermark feature for its unique DRM-X platform. /Software News Articles/ - SHANGHAI, CHINA, June 21, 2008 - Haihaisoft recently released new dynamic watermark feature for its unique DRM-X platform. Haihaisoft is the only provider of multi-format, multi-platform DRM and digital copy protection solutions. Haihaisoft DRM-X system can securely deliver licenses for media files in Windows Media, Adobe Flash Video, Real Media, AVI format and PDF document. Haihaisoft announced that the DRM-X platform has updated its Haihaisoft Universal Player to version 1.0.7.1, and added the innovative dynamic watermark feature to it"s DRM-X platform. Haihaisoft Universal Player is a powerful media player which supports almost all popular digital media formats and can also play digital media files protected by DRM-X platform. DRM-X platform provides dynamic watermarking capabilities on protected media content. The new dynamic watermark shows Username in the protected content. A watermark is the text includes Username and text messages that is superimposed over the media files. In a rights managed media file, the watermark can be applied dynamically as the media file is played in Haihaisoft Universal Player or ActiveX player online. The watermark is not editable by users and is not permanently stored in the media file. The location of the watermark is customizable by administrators in DRM-X control panel Rights management and can contain pre-defined text such as an information classification as well as the user"s name and message. The new dynamic watermark technology makes DRM-X become more powerful. With its original Blacklist function, not all capture softwares can be found and blocked, but the new dynamic watermark technology is a nice way to solve that problem. CBS raises the ante in online news race with Evening News simulcast.
New York (NY) - In September 1963, about a year and a half after he launched the CBS Evening News, Walter Cronkite instituted one of the most innovative developments in journalism: On the surface, it appeared that CBS merely expanded the broadcast from 15 minutes to a half-hour. But in doing so, Cronkite actually helped invent the minute-by-minute "layout" system of story prioritization that enabled television news editors to manage their broadcasts like a press agency. It was an innovation that NBC would emulate only weeks later, and that would establish television as the principal provider of news for most Americans.
