HTC to ship Ipaq rx5915 to HP in October.

High Tech Computer (HTC) is expected to begin volume shipments of the Ipaq rx5915 GPS-enabled PDA to Hewlett-Packard (HP) this month, according to market sources. The Ipaq rx5915 will run under a Samsung Electronics SC 32442 (400 MHz) processor and Microsoft"s Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC OS, and has built-in WLAN 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth connectivity, TomTom"s Navigator 6 software and Tele Atlas" mapping information, according to HP and market sources.

Firefox 2.0 bug hunt getting into gear.
Chicago (IL) - Microsoft had to deal with the first security issues of Internet Explorer 7.0 on the first day of the browser"s release. Firefox appears to be ok as of now, but Italian website Pianeta PC, claims that a security hole that was already patched for 1.x versions of Firefox is resurfacing in 2.0 - and allows malignant programmers to create Javascript code that causes the browser to crash.
