DFI to include AMD embedded processors.

Taiwan-based industrial PC (IPC) maker Diamond Flower Electric Instrument (DFI) plans to add AMD embedded processors in its product lineup later in the year, according to sources at the company. Aside from Advantech and ICP Electronics, which already include AMD processors in their lineup, DFI also plans to use AMD processors in its IPC products starting from the third quarter of this year with a focus on the Micro ATX platform. Google Earth gets Winter Olympics extensions.
Google said it has updated its Google Earth application that will allow users to get a better overview of the locations of the upcoming Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. Google Earth now features impressive high-resolution imagery and placemarks of the competition venues, the Olympic villages Bardonecchia, Sestriere and Torino. The image data is complemented by a wealth of information about the events as well as an event schedule.
